STranger question
 

Has anyone heard from Jerry lately? Someone posted on Lj that he had passed away, but it all seems very vague and nebulous.

The last post from him was on Oct 30th, he posted about the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear.

He doesn't post on LJ that often said he was moving over to Facebook but I haven't heard anything about him being sick or worse. I hope he's OK.

Gosh, I hope not! :0( If anyone finds out anything, be sure to let us know.

This is really distressing, to say the least. Anyone heard anything? :(

I saw the obit a few days back.

I'm so sorry and sad - I didn't know he was ill. I only knew his online persona, but he seemed like a genuinely good guy.

Angela, can you PM the link to the obit for me? Sometimes there's a place for people to leave messages.

What terrible news.

That's so sad. It's always shocking when someone you know, even if it's just through the internet, passes away. Hopefully it was quick and he didn't suffer. Though they will probably never see it, my condolences to his family and friends.

A real shame -- jerry always had something interesting to say. Is there a reason the obit link can't be posted here?

As far as I know there's no reason not to paste. This was posted on LJ. Apparently it was all very sudden. Very very sad. Someone on LJ thought it might have been due to his diabetes, but so far as I know there has been no definitive cause released.

I'm so sad to hear this. I always liked hearing Jerry's insider comments. He always seemed like a good guy.

I don't know if this news made it here, but Ebonbird, who wrote Two Breathe, passed away suddenly on Oct. 15. It's been a sad fall for fandom.

Angela - Thanks for posting the obit, this is very sad, he was so young and he wasn't even sick.


I hadn't heard about Ebonbird, this is another loss for the fandom. Very, sad day.

So sad. My heart goes out to Jerry and Ebonbiord's families. =(

I really didn't know Jerry well, but it feels like we lost a member of our family. My condolances to his family and to those of us who knew him as a friend.
