And avatars are now showing even though I still have the option set to not show avatars?

They are? I just tried turning off avatars, and the function works for me, even in the members-only fora where the permissions can get tricky. Can you tell me if they're popping up on all the boards or just in certain areas, and which ones?

They aren't anymore.

They were showing up in the thread where you talked about the new size for avatars. But not in the general boards. So I got confused. Went into the Control Panel and turned them on then off again and now they aren't showing up anywhere.
