This sucks, everyone has been totally blindsided. I wish I knew why, they were closing.

The owners of the site said, basically, the amount they make from the site wasn't justifying the cost of running it. Which I can see. A site that gets thousands of visitors a day (like I'm sure TWOP does) costs a lot to keep up and running. And I'm guessing the owners don't think they make enough from TWOP to justify how much they spend on TWOP.
