Platy confirmed this via TVGuide.com (http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-News-Blog/Todays-News/Pussycat-Purrs-Cane/800024744), and certainly it deserves its own thread by now: Charisma will guest star on the FOX sitcom Back to You November 7.

It's officially her next new TV appearance, since her debut as a recurring character on Big Shots has been moved to Episode 8, currently set to run November 15.

I wish we had some information on her appearance. I can just see her as a perky weather girl or a Corky Sherwood type character from Murphy Brown

I think Back to You already has a "perky" (read emotionally unstable) weather girl. I'd love to see CC as a super-aggressive "consumer activist" reporter, though -- you know, the whole getting in people's faces and going "are you still ripping off senior citizens?" thing. :D

I don't watch the show so I have no idea what they have, except for Fred Willard :D

That would be kind of cool too; guess we'll have to wait and see.

Well, they just did an episode where Grammar's character tries to impress some old network colleagues. Maybe CC will be a reporter that has always been a rival to Healey's character so they can show her being just as ruthless as Grammar was.

Or, ya know, she might be the sexy ex that has Grammar flustered and upset all through the episode. I hope it's more than that, but since it's a one-shot, it could be anything.

True enough -- I've been watch EpGuides.com (http://epguides.com/) for anything about CC's episode, but BtY seems to be going into reruns just before sweeps. There's nothing available either there or at TV Guide after tonight's installment.

Hey, at least it's Tia Carrere playing the "date" in tonight's ep and not CC, because I admit, I too would really prefer if she didn't get stuck playing the sex interest. Although given what I've read about Grammer's character, most of the women in his life are The Sex Interest by default. Which is another point in favor of making CC a rival reporter!

My guess is --->that she might be the station tour guide or a coordinator for community outreach -- the person who has to deal with all the class field trips, in other words. Could be good for a lot of laughs.<---

Thank God CC already taped her episode because productions on "Back to You" has halted according to Yahoo News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071106/ap_en_mo/hollywood_labor;_ylt=AkbVCcGyOt5J9TUbGfyInd8wFxkF) .

Production has stopped on at least six sitcoms filmed before live audiences because of the Hollywood writers strike..."Back to You," starring Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton, will not return from a planned hiatus on Wednesday. said Chris Alexander, a spokesman for 20th Century Fox Television.

It just got done. She plays the bully 'Xander's mother. She comes in to confront the news lady (cant recall the name, dont watch the show) after she has a 'talking to' with her son. And Kelesy Grammers character tries to hit on her during it.

She was only in one scene at the end and I am putting it up on my computer now to make screen grabs.

Just saw it - the show was fairly mediocre, though Kelsey Grammar is always funny. Charisma looked stunning but that was hardly a surprise. And it was made a point of! :naughty: Kelsey's character's behaviour around her was hilarious.

I'll put the clip up on youtube for a few days if anyone wants to see it.

thank you, that was a very short scene but CC did look fantastic. Wish it had been a bigger part but if nothing else she's making some good connections that seem to pay off in the long run.

CC's scene was short..but I'm quiet happy I got to see after quiet a while. She was stunning as usual...as Grammar pointed out. ;) Can't wait to see her on Big Shots.

CC's episode (Gracie's Bully) is scheduled to repeat on the Wednesday the 9th at 8:00 pm ET if anyone missed it the first time.
