CC in nationale opinie polll-best actor/actress

not a lot of people viewed the last update in the Nationae Opinie Miss 2006 thread, so I thought I would start a new thread and capture their attention

CC is in the nationale opinie 'Best Actor/Actress' poll this week
this is round 2--week 8 of 8

after 21 hours of voting CC has only 7 votes, that's pretty poor compared to her previous voting record---she's leading her opponent, but this doesn't bode well for the next rounds

if we would all get back to voting regularly, we could possibly get her up to 3rd, or maybe even 2nd place this year (David James Elliot is hard to beat)

so come on, let's all go and vote

Gillian Anderson, Ashley Olsen, and Dido have all been eliminated dfrom this poll

Poor Colin.

I wonder if we should vote against someone like Jen Aniston and Hillary Duff to, to get them out of there? They seem to have fairly strong fanbases. That way, later, CC only has to go up against someone with a weak fanbase?

if they run it the same way as last years poll, CC will come up against Jen Aniston in the next round

the ones we really have to defeat in the third round are

I think CC should wind up this round with over 70 votes, that's ok for this round, but for some of the upcoming rounds, it is marginal---she needs new voters

CC is doing great with a 14 stem lead
NB is just barely holding on to a 2 stem lead,
DB is doing poorly, he's about 7 stems down

MT, and ED will lose, unless MT can get 5 stems in the next 90 minutes (not likely)

they will be starting round 4 this evening, and if they run it the same way as last year, CC will be in the best Actor.Actress poll this week

sad to say, she will probably be up against DB

actually, this is a one-on-one contest, running across the board
4 seperate contests

so CC is winning, 36 to 24 over RDA
so is MT, 29 to 23 over KK
and NB is tied, 26 to 26 with SB

in next weeks battles, David James Elliot will be up against Catherine Bell
they are usually BOTH big scorrers, so one of them will be eliminated, so it's possiblt that if we can muster the people, CC could wind up in at least 2nd place this year

and NB's falling short of 4 votes to take the lead against SB, 39 to 42

CC will be in this round in ther Best Actor/Actress poll

If CC wins she will be in again next week. And the week after that will be the final 2 face off

it looks like they're spliting this round in two, probably to extend it so they don't have as much of a gap between seasons

Just out of curiousity, how many years has this thing been running?
Seems like it's been going on forever.

Charisma won her battle this week, so she at least makes it to the top 4

her next opponent should be Viggo Mortensen who outvoted her 64 to 59 last round. her next round will start next Sunday

if she can win her next one, she will probably go up against David James Elliot in the final.

As for how long this has been going on ???
We got into it 3 years ago but it was around at least another year, because CC already had a score from a previous year 117. we got her up to 10th that first year, but that was when they only had one poll. Male, female, actors, singers, (many oriental singers), and other celebrities. Last year they seperated it out like it is now

In the last round Viggo got 64 votes to CC's 59,
So she needs more votes this week.

If she can get a win this week, she will be in the finals
