Charisma Carpenter up for Wonder Woman?

This must be taken with a grain of salt. Recently Joss Whedon, who is in talks to direct WW, and the producers want CC to play Wonder Woman. They say that they want Charisma because this is her kind of role. They want this to be her template for future roles.

Having a former Buffy star in this role is not that far-fetched. Earlier rumours have suggested Sarah Michelle Gellar and Eliza Dushkou.

I'd prefer CC, but I could see Lauren Graham in the role. She's got the figure for it.
