Just checked out the Craig Kilborn site and it has the upcoming guests apperances, and what they star in, and by CC's name they have that teen film Mean Girls,

No, she's not in "Mean Girls". It was probably a mistake. Unless they mean that she played a "mean girl" on BTVS/ATS/MM. ;)

there was something around the boards a couple of months ago about this, someone was going thru the credits and saw the name 'carpenter' and jumped to the conclusion that it was her, but it turned out that the food service on the movie was 'carpenter carering'--no connection.
or something to that effect.

For what it's worth, Tina Fey of SNL, who wrote Mean Girls, is on Letterman tonight. Dave is on right before Craig, so I'm guessing it was an erroneous carryover from the earlier program.
